Marvellous turnout for our FAI / ISC Code of Ethics/ Child Welfare workshop, 27 coaches & volunteer helpers passed through the first of our COMPULSORY child welfare courses, a fully engaged, enjoyable & enlightening workshop.

A huge thank you to FAI's Paul Martyn & Paul Keogh for running the course & Child Welfare Officer Fran Jordan & Club Secretary Karen McCaffrey for organising & a specially thank you to all our coaches & helpers who continue to give of their time to the club & kids.

As everyone is aware, all adults working with children must, by law, be Garda Vetted and as part of our response to the issue of child Welfare, we are also running a compulsary FAI Child Protection course for ALL coaches/ manager in the club.

Each schoolboy team must nominate at least one member of their coaching or volunteer group to attend the first course in the clubhouse on Sept 4th 2014, it is a requirement that everyone involved in coaching completes this course!!
